Smoking Medicinal Herbs
A relaxing and efficient way to utilize the medicine of many herbs is to smoke them. This can be done either by smudging, as one would do with sage, or our favorite way, by smoking.
When sitting around a fire or when we want to unwind my husband and I roll up some of our favorite medicinal herbs. We use just enough of each to roll into a filter free cigarette.
Here is a mixture we use often:
Mullein- used for lung and bronchial congestion, coughs, ear infections
Lemon Balm- used for fevers, depression, relaxes nervous tension
Spearmint- used for fevers and cold, stomach pain, depression, adds flavor
Damiana- increases libido, helps congestion
Skullcap- relaxes nervous tension, induces inner calm
